Mondli Mdanda
Mondli Mdanda is a young and upcoming artist in South Africa. Mdanda has trained in the Sculpture Department of the Durban University of Technology and qualified with a B.Tech degree in Fine Arts.
He has furthered his training by apprenticing with Peter Hall on both public sculptures of King Dinuzulu and Chief Buthelezi. Mdanda has done many commissions such as a Steve Biko bust, a Moses Mabhida bust, and a life-size figure of Chief Bhambatha.
Intrinsic to Mondli's work is his character which is patient, sensitive and perceptive. Mondli currently lives and work in Inanda, Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal.
