Ruhan Janse van Vuuren
Ruhan Janse van Vuuren was born in Amersfoort in 1981. After moving to and growing up in Pretoria, he decided to study Fine Arts (specialising in Sculpture) at the Tshwane University of Technology.
Upon receiving his qualification he worked at Dionysus Sculpture Works for four years before Janse van Vuuren became a full time independent sculptor.
Janse van Vuuren is renowned in the Fine Arts world, both locally and globally, and recently started working public commissions.
He has worked on works such as Nokuthula Simelane, Pixley ka Isaka Seme and the monumental Nelson Mandela.
He continues to leave his sculptural mark on the world.
