Irvin Nkwanyana
Irvin was born and grew up at Amaoti one of the rural area near Durban. He recognized his artistic flare when he was doing STD 3 at AMAOTI CP SCHOOL. He completed his matric at Amandlethu High School in 1997. His main area of artwork is drawing, painting and sculpture; he has been doing art since 1994. He enhances his artistic skills by attending the Art classes from Sarah Richard Art Studio in Durban from 2001-2004. He worked at C.C.O where he was doing mosaic and painting murals 2003- 2005. He also participated in numerous Community Art Project and Group Exhibition in Durban. He was selected for the finalist in Brett Kebble Art Award 2004 (Cape Town). He was also nominated as the finalist of PPC Cement Young Concrete Sculpture Awards, 2005 (Pretoria).
He obtained his National Diploma in Graphic Design at the Durban University of Technology in 2010.
