"I was born in the UK but have spent most of my life in South Africa.
I was fortunate enough to go to a school where art was one of the subjects I could take, so my love for art started to grow at a early age.
In the mid to late 1990s I had the privilege of working with Dylan Lewis at his art studio where I received an invaluable background to art I would have never received anywhere else. While working at Dylan's studio and foundry as his assistant I also attended classes at the Ruth Prose Art School for 3 years.
In 1998 I started my own art foundry casting bronze sculptures for not only Dylan Lewis but for dozens of other professional artists. Over the years I have made a number of my own sculptures which have been sold in galleries around the Cape.
It's been a great privilege to work on this NHP project with Rodger September and I look foreword to possibly doing more such projects in the future with him."

"As a young primary school scholar I was always interested in art and being creative. I never knew that art had such a 'big world' attached to it until I crossed the true reality in 2004 when given the privilege to work at an art foundry.
In 2010 birthed the desire and passion to do art and I've felt complete since. I realised that this is my creative destiny.
I decided to get into action and made my first sculpture, call Genesis. For 10 years at the foundry I've been honoured and privileged to work with well-known artists such as Keith Calder, Louis Chanu, Dylan Lewis, Alan Ainslie and many more as I performed the quality control on their pieces unlocking a whole new understanding of art inside of me."
